Meet the Shark Tooth Core Bit

Get a Clean Cut Every Time

Getting a clean cut while coring comes down to three things: the material, the gear, and the segment. If you’re drilling day in and day out, you already know how much difference the right setup makes. However, with the proper core bit and equipment, every job becomes faster, smoother, and far more efficient.

Meet the Shark Tooth Diamond Core Bit

The Shark Tooth Diamond Core Bit handles medium to hard concrete, exposed aggregate, and precast work with ease. It delivers speed and consistency on-site, giving you a quick, clean bite and a smooth finish every time.

Additionally, the Shark’s fast-cutting segment bites straight in without glazing, allowing you to cut quickly and precisely. Therefore, whether you’re a builder, plumber, electrician, or contractor, you can line it up, run it steady, and let the diamonds do the work. You don’t need heavy downward pressure—just smooth, controlled coring that cuts clean through tough concrete.

What It Fits

Most drilling machines use a 1¼” UNC connection, but if yours doesn’t, adaptors make the job easy. For example, Hilti drills run on a BI+ quick-release system, so you’ll need a BI+ to 1¼” UNC adaptor to fit standard diamond core bits.

In addition, keeping one in your toolbox helps you switch between rigs quickly and stress-free. You can find all adaptors and fittings in the Core Bit Accessories range. As a result, you’ll stay ready for any setup or jobsite condition.

Sizes and Depth

The Shark comes in 45 mm – 610 mm (1¾” – 24″) diameters, with a 430 mm standard drilling depth. Consequently, whether you’re doing hand-held coring or full-rig work, the Shark gives you dependable performance every time.

Set Yourself Up Right

Coring runs smoother when your full setup is ready to go. If you need the right stands, handles, and adaptors, explore the Core Drilling Kit. Each piece connects perfectly, ensuring a setup that improves both efficiency and safety. Meanwhile, a well-prepared kit also reduces downtime and prevents equipment mismatches.

Not Sure Which Bond or Segment You Need?

Before your next job, take a moment to learn how to match bond and segment types to your material. The right combination dramatically improves speed, accuracy, and tool life. On the other hand, choosing the wrong one can waste time and wear down your bit faster.
