Description
The Rapida cup wheels hace a cap cutter segment with a soft bond that allows for powerful grinding on the hardest concrete. This cup wheel is ideal for; extremely hard trowel, smooth concrete that has been strengthened with curing agents.
During the process, the curing agents form a membrane over the top of the concrete slab. This stops the water near the surface from evaporating too quickly and strengthens the concrete cap. The rigid surface on this concrete floor requires special tooling to break through it.
When a diamond segment bond isn’t paired for the concrete hardness, diamonds will sometimes glaze. This happens when the bonding material doesn’t wear away and expose the diamonds. Contact the diamond tooling experts to learn more about how and why this happens.
